Dementia Care

Assisteo’s dementia care program is designed with caregiver and family training and support at the forefront. Caregiver training and education on disease process, medication management, and home safety for dementia patients will be provided by the nursing team. Our skilled therapists will provide specific training to caregivers for safe mobility techniques focusing on proper body mechanics and use of adaptive equipment. In addition, they will assist with pain management, and establish an individualized home exercise program to maintain strength and flexibility.
